Hello all. This is Dre. Your average horn playing vegetarian kid. If you're reading this in about a year, you're probably digging deep into the recesses of my blog, which I great. I do that all the time. If it's sometime soon, well, hi.
I decided to start this blog as a general documentation of my transition to veganism as I exit high school and start college in August. I plan on posting a little about food, animal rights, and all of that good (and not so good) stuff. Currently, I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian. I spent a little over a year as a vegan when I was 13/14, but financial circumstances pushed me to vegetarianism, a reversal that I'm working on making right. Eventually, all of my recipes and the like will be about veganism, but for now, there will be some mention of general vegetarianism.
Some other things about me:
-I'm pagan.
-I play French horn and acoustic guitar.
-I'm addicted to poorly recorded folk punk and coffee.
-I write, semi-regularly.
-I'm a feminist and LGBTQIA activist. Expect to see some posts on such subjects.
-I'm obsessed with 1940's fashion.
-I'm a nerd who can't go a single conversation without making a Doctor Who reference.
